31. پھر بلاشبہ تم لوگ قیامت کے دن اپنے رب کے حضور باہم جھگڑا کروگے*o

* ایک گروہ دوسرے کو کہے گا کہ ہمیں مقامِ نبوّت اور شانِ رسالت کو سمجھنے سے تم نے روکا تھا، وہ کہیں گے: نہیں تم خود ہی بدبخت اور گمراہ تھے۔

31. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will dispute with one another before your Lord.*

* One group will say to the other: ‘You stopped us from understanding the esteemed station of the Prophet and accepting his glorious message.’ Others will reply: ‘No, you were misguided yourselves.’

31. Then, certainly, on the Day of Resurrection you will dispute with one another in the presence of your Lord.*

* One party will say to the other: ‘You stopped us from understanding the station of the Prophet and the glory of the Messenger.’ They will reply: ‘No, you were yourselves ill-fated and misguided.’

31. Thumma innakum yawma alqiyamati AAinda rabbikum takhtasimoona

31. Deretter, sannelig, vil dere krangle dere imellom på oppstandelsens dag hos Herren deres (den ene flokken vil si til den andre: «Dere hindret oss fra å begripe profetskapets rang og ære!», men de vil få til svar: «Nei, dere var selv uhellsvangre og villfarne.»)

31. फिर बिला शुबा तुम लोग क़ियामत के दिन अपने रब के हुज़ूर बाहम झगड़ा करोगे (एक गिरोह दूसरे को कहेगा कि हमें मक़ामे नुबुव्वत और शाने रिसालत को समझने से तुमने रोका था, वोह कहेंगे नहीं तुम खु़द ही बदबख़्त और गुमराह थे) ।

৩১. অতঃপর নিঃসন্দেহে কিয়ামতের দিন তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের সম্মুখে পরষ্পরে ঝগড়া করবে। (একদল অপর দলকে বলবে, ‘আমাদেরকে নবুয়্যত ও রিসালাতের মর্যাদা বুঝতে তোমরা বাধা দিয়েছিলে’, তারা উত্তরে বলবে, ‘না, বরং তোমরা নিজেরাই দুর্ভাগা ও পথভ্রষ্ট ছিলে’।)
